#thankshubs #day10planning
Proverbs 16:3 Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.
Heavenly Father, God, thank you for my husband. Thank you that he is a planner – that he wants to make sure that our future is not only secure, but securely in what God has for us. As he establishes his plans in You, God, and in Your Word, I pray that you would assure him with Your peace. I know that you will bless him as he commits his work, his plans, his life to you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I don’t think when my husband and I started dating that I would have called him a planner. At least not in the way that I was/am a planner. I’m more of a scheduler. And he’s more of a big picture guy.
But to get to that big picture, the 10,000 foot view as he calls it, he pours through a lot of data. He thinks through the ripple effect. In his mind he goes all in to one decision, thinking through all of the consequences, then pulls back out, and goes all into another decision and thinks through all of the consequences.
And while it may take him a while to make a decision, when he does it is always well thought through, thoroughly investigated (usually including charts or worksheets) and ready to be implemented.
I was wrong. My husband is a planner. He is an amazing planner, committing his work to the Lord.

Thanks love for how you make decisions and plan for our future. I am amazed at your process and how you work through things. You weigh everything and carefully consider how to move forward. I love how you plan and seek God in those plans.

Now, it’s your turn. Take a minute and write what you’re thankful for when it comes to your husband’s job or a prayer of thanksgiving of your own. Put it in the comments, on facebook, twitter, or instagram. Be sure to use the hashtag #thankshubs and #day5leader when you post it. The Ultimate Christian Living Bundle
This week, I’ve had the pleasure of sharing with you all some of my favorite things about this bundle, from the kids’ music to the Guilt-Free Quiet Times book. Since the sale is only up for five days, even I haven’t gotten to explore all of the cool features of the bundle, including the novels, the Christian classics, and especially the financial resources.
Really quickly, I want to share with you what one of the UCLB purchasers had to say once he got a chance to dive into his bundle:
I have received your bundle. I have listened to three of the TBTG (Taking Back The Gates) talks just today. I cannot overstate how it has changed my life already in literally a matter of hours. Its renewed my hope. Thanks and keep up the blessed work you and your team are doing. -Dan V.
I don’t know which sections will speak to you the most. I don’t know which resources you are needing in your life at this time.
I can confidently say, especially from my own purchase of the Ultimate Homemaking Bundle last spring, that there are books in this bundle that are amazing. That will help you think about things differently. That will help grow an idea that’s just below the surface.
So, I invite you to check it out. The sale ends tonight at 11:59 pm EST.
Thanks for taking this journey with me.
