I’m loving this #thankshubs Challenge. I have been so refreshed by remembering to be thankful for my husband this last week. I wonder if any of you are feeling the same? I hope so!

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Heavenly Father, God, I thank you for my husband. I thank you for his character and strength of character, which I know is a gift from you. I pray for him now that he would not be conformed to this world and instead would be transformed through Your Holy Word. I pray that his character would make him stand out as a man among men. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My husband and I run a business together. A few months back our bookkeeper (me) messed up some billing. My husband caught the mistake as soon as the bill went out and put eyes on the account to see it. We then contacted the client and corrected the problem.
The client later admitted that they never would have even noticed the mistake and would have simply paid the bill. My husband knew this about them and chose to make bill correct for them.
It’s like my old basketball team tshirt used to say Character is how you act when no one is watching.

Thanks, love, for being a man of character. I know it is so important for you to treat people well and to work to the best of your ability. That fiber of your character is one thing I am so proud of. I know it is influencing your success at work and with your business. #thankshubs

Now, it’s your turn. Take a minute and write what you’re thankful for when it comes to your husband’s job or a prayer of thanksgiving of your own. Put it in the comments, on facebook, twitter, or instagram. Be sure to use the hashtag #thankshubs and #day3spiritofadventure when you post it. You can even tag me @leahheffner (twitter) or @respectdare (facebook and instagram). And if you’re a blogger, put it in the linky below and grab the badge to put on your post. and one more thing…
I just wanted to share with you my top bundle picks from this year’s Ultimate Christian Living Bundle which is available until Monday for just $34.95.
If you bought these books individually they would cost over $80. And this is just the start of my favorites. I love pretty much everything in the For Children section!
And if you buy the bundle through the links on my blog, I’ll send you a gift. You can learn more about that on this page.
For today’s party give away, leave a comment with your top pick off of this list. You will be entered for a chance to win a Marks of Grace Ribbon book mark!
Thanks for considering and thanks for doing the #thankshubs Challenge with me! Don’t forget to link up and grab the badge!

I am enjoying this challenge greatly, it sure makes me think and look outside of all the struggles we have knowing there are always things to be thankful for. I wanted to write about a very specific thing about my husband and his character but knowing his privacy and thoughts of it being boastful, I first asked his permission he said no…. so I’m honoring that by not talking about examples of his character here or on Facebook but I will write it out so one day it can be shared. I can stand proud at the man I’m married to and his character. Yes, he is human and has flaws just like the rest of us but he is one awesome dude. Ok on to write my thankshubs post on Facebook…

Thank you dear for maintaining an upright character. I thank God for making you the person you are and as He work on you to make you what you ought to be I pray you will endure as endurance builds character and allow God to refine you like pure gold and mold you into the vessel he wants you to be. #thankshubs #day7character @respectdare
