Here’s the wrap up of some of our favorite posts this week. We love sharing bloggers who are speaking to other women about marriage, motherhood, and especially, respect. So enjoy your morning (or if you’re like us, your 5th or 6th) cup of coffee with us while you check out these links.
My Heart is at Home – Wednesday, July 24, 2013 If you like Fly Lady, but don’t like all of the emails that come in, then Mary at My Heart is at Home is the lady you want to read. She has tons of great stuff on cleaning up, and getting organized. Plus, she’s super encouraging.
Holy Spirit Led Homeschooling – Creating a Family Bible and Devotional Time that Works for You I love the focused and grace filled effort of this family. My husband and I were very excited to start this with out kids after reading Visionary Family by Rob Rienow. This is well said and very encouraging look at how to do it, and how we all slip up sometimes.
Carrots for Michaelmas – I’m Trying Not to Be the “Just Wait” Mom Haley does it again with this one. Having just welcomed a sweet little boy into our home, I have heard this tons, and now I can see why I feel so discouraged every time I hear it. We do need to encourage and pray for each other during the hard stuff.
But By Grace – What Is Romance? Jenn is hilarious. She is so great at looking at marriage and seeing a lesson in the day-to-day. This one is especially funny.
Teen Respect Dare – It’s Hard Being a Teenager Man, these kids are mature. I love their insight on life as a teen and Christian. This week’s is great for kids who struggle with the social boxes our kids feel like they live in.
