Ya know, after a month of Mommy Guilt, a month of sorting out why we feel the way we do, and realizing it’s totally normal, I think it’s time to boil it down to the question we all really want to ask:
Am I a good mom?
Some days, I sure don’t feel like one. Some moments are more monumental than I thought possible. Or at least my reaction is.
And some days, we manage to get it right. I never can quite put my finger on it. I have no idea how I got the baby to sleep all night. Or how I made the exact same soup delicious today when it was inedible last week.
The question “Am I a good mom?” will come up over and over again in our time as mothers, of that I have no doubt. We’ll wonder if we blew it. We’ll wonder if we nailed it. I imagine that 20 years from now we’ll wonder what we should have done differently all those years ago.
I thought it would be fun to wrap up this monthly series with a little quiz. This quiz is called “Are You a Good Mom?” and at the end of the day, I think that’s the heart-question we all need to have answered.
So I invite you take the quiz, and then, maybe send it to a mom you know that desperately wants to know if she’s a good mom too. After you submit your answers, let the page reload and come back here to see your results and a special message just for you.

This is brilliant.
