Hi friends. It’s MONDAY! And Mondays are Mondays are Mondays. And not like in a Garfield kind of way. (Do people even get that reference? I don’t know…) Anyways, there’s no video today. I’m doing some thinking on Monday Musings. Please see the bottom of the post to help me out!
Cutie Family Quotes
“Hello. I’m Sir Reginald!” – Lemonade 3
“Sissy not re-nal. Sissy girl.” – Dozer 2
“Mom, dad put cherry tomatoes IN my quesadilla.” – Lemonade (like, the AUDACITY of VEGETABLES)
Baby Update
I’m 30 weeks. The third trimester fatigue is here. It’s here to stay friends. Good news: I sleep like a log at night, except for the bathroom breaks. Bad news: I sleep like 9 hours a night (and until my kids wake me in the morning) and still feel like I could nap all afternoon or go to bed at 6. Maybe I should before I get that second wind.
I have this delightful pregnancy rash which is itchy. The antihistamines are helpful though. So that’s a plus.
Baby is measuring great. And I’m going to have to start thinking about getting things out and organized for this little bundle of joy sauce. I just can’t bear the thought of the clutter so I can’t do it yet.
On The Homestead
I figured out the secret to the harvest : I invited friends over to play with my kids so I could pick without the usual war cries from the youngens. Plus their mama helped me pick and this means I got the whole garden done this morning.
Harvest notes: a bucket full of cherry tomatoes, lots of other tomatoes, zucchinis, eggplants, pickle remnants, peppers.
There are now 3 very large pumpkins out there. I was hoping for just copious amounts of pumpkins but these big ones are fun too. I think we have 4 or 5 total.
O, I should have picked corn I guess. Maybe I’ll head back out there. After my nap…
In Other News
So interesting fact: most of the unsubscribes on the blog come on these Monday posts. So I’m looking for some honest to goodness feedback on them. Please fill out this quick form so I can know what you’re thinking
Thank you so much! You don’t know what your feedback means to me as I work to continue working on growing the community here at Life Around the Coffee Cup.

Being a grandparent, I’m probably biased with my responses. Your questionnaire didn’t permit multiple answers; I enjoy hearing about the kids, baby updates, & homestead updates along with the videos, I’ve not seen much of ‘the other news’. I love hearing that you have a ‘real’ life’, one I can relate to – not some glamorous uptown gal (don’t get me wrong, I’m sure you could be this!) I enjoy hearing/seeing references to books/movies/travel/you name it – I’m living my YOUNG life again, through you.
If you decided to change content it would be great if we could comment before the actual action.

You’re right! I must have forgot a setting when I made it. Thanks for your feedback.

I agree with PJ. I am the “grandmother” age as well. I really enjoy the content as it is. And. “If you decided to change content it would be great if we could comment before the actual action.” I quoted that comment, as I agree with it. Perhaps you need a “granny section”. I am really “just kidding”. I like it exactly as it is.

Thanks so much for the comment! I really appreciate it! I’ve had a couple people ask me for more grandma stuff. I’m no granny expert. But maybe that’s something to work on.
