When I was pregnant with my oldest, I couldn’t wait to wear maternity pants, see my little belly pop out, feel baby kicks, and eat for two.
I can’t say that any of those desires have left me over the course of three pregnancies. Sure, the maternity pants and the (not-so) little belly pop out sooner each time, but these are blissful and fun things for me. And who doesn’t love eating for two?
Not only that but I love (weirdly) folding laundry on my bump. Especially as I get baby clothes ready. Probably one of those nest-y things I hear so much about.
Another desire I can’t quite explain but I really enjoy is maternity photos. There’s just something about these pictures that are so priceless and special.
Here are just a few from my other kiddos.

And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for….
Maternity Photos of My Youngest, Blog Name TBD

But guys, this one. THIS is the picture that I feel like would be the Christmas card of my life.
Ok, so there’s two. ๐
And then you need one of my kids running right?
This is the first time we’ve had a professional photographer do our maternity shots (usually we use our camera, a tripod, and lots of running) so this was a fun experience and AMAZING photos.
Can’t wait for family photos after the peanut is here. EEEEEEEEEE.
Ok I could gush more, but I won’t.
Love love,
PS The formatting on this post was a NIGHTMARE. So, if something doesn’t look right, feel free to let me know and hopefully I can get it fixed.
