Good morning! This week I am giving a try to my first vlog!!
In the video, I mention this post on knowing your husband’s love language and this post on getting our productivity on.
And, in case you didn’t make it all the way to the end of the little video, please leave a comment about the most creative thing you have done to show your husband love. That way we can have a big ‘ole pool of ideas to draw from!

Hi Leah, I have just started following your blog, at the same time as starting to work my way through the Respect Dare. My husband and I have been married nearly six months and our first baby is on the way in October which I imagine is going to shake things up a little (!) so I am trying to get in some good habits now. When my husband first asked me to date, I was living in Brazil and he was in London. It was early November and I wasn’t due to return to the UK until Christmas. I made him an advent calendar – one of the ones with the little windows that you open each day in December and behind each window I put a “getting to know you” question. I also wrote my answers in advance and kept them on my computer. The rule was that he had to open the window each day and send me a message with his answer and then I would reply with mine (since mine were written in advance, this way ensured that neither of us tried to change our answer to reflect the other’s). He loved it and it really helped us make the most of the couple of months where we couldn’t be in the same place – we ended up with some very long skype conversations driven by the questions (it’s amazing how long you can talk about your favourite food or what you would do with 10,000 dollars!). A year later, he shared the story and showed the calendar to everyone at our wedding as part of his speech – I was embarrassed but proud that it had been such a success. It really was a great way of kickstarting conversation and bringing a bit of fun into each day ๐
