Proverbs 18:22 He who finds a wife finds a good thing And obtains favor from the LORD.
Heavenly Father, God, Thank You that my husband is my husband. Thank You that he is mine and I am his. For what You had in mind as we came together as husband and wife – how we complement one another, stretch and grow one another, and encourage and uplift one another. I pray that you would fill me with the ability to be a wife that brings him good and not harm. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I like to say that I knew my husband and I would get married from very early on in our relationship. To which my husband always looks at a little like I’m standing outside in a bathrobe, half smiles, and then says “yea, yea”.
My husband is much more calculated in everything he says and does. After over a year of dating, I was ready to get engaged. He told me that while he knew he wanted to marry me, he wouldn’t ask me any sooner than what he felt was God’s timing for us.
He had found the one he wanted to be his wife.

Thanks, love, for being my husband. I think God put some special doses of patience and resilience in you for signing up for a life with me. I couldn’t be more blessed by how you stretch me outside of myself. Thank you for asking me to be your wife.
