Psalm 127:3-5 Don’t you see that children are God’s best gift? the fruit of the womb his generous legacy?Like a warrior’s fistful of arrows are the children of a vigorous youth. Oh, how blessed are you parents, with your quivers full of children! Your enemies don’t stand a chance against you; you’ll sweep them right off your doorstep.
Heavenly Father, God, thank You for my husband. Thank You that he is the father of my children. Thank You for the gift of our children and that I have this man to do life with and to raise and influence children with. Help me remember every day that these are your babies and you have blessed, that we get to raise them to know you. Remind us daily that these babies are a blessing and that we want to raise arrows. Thanks for blessing us with this responsibility. Amen.

Daily I am reminded of why God’s design for families has two parents. Some days it feels like a WWE tag team event and every day, it’s having someone to share the best and worst parts with, and teaching them things.
Recently my husband instituted “Family Cleaning Clock” as way to help whip the house into shape each week. Something I never would have thought to do, or would have an impact (30 minutes tops with two toddlers underfoot), and yet, here we are, getting excited about cleaning and getting everyone to help.
Blessed to be parenting with this man.

Thanks, love, for bringing strengths and insights to the parenting table that I don’t have. Thanks for how you build into and love on our kids and also how you teach them and encourage them. I’m so blessed to be parenting with you.
